Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to lead large, complex, high‑value customer implementations across EMEA. You will mobilise, deliver, and go‑live, aligning objectives with adoption, readiness, and value realization.

Role requires fluent English and German, 7+ years in PM/Programme roles, and experience guiding multi‑discipline teams. Hybrid work with travel up to 20% is expected, in line with Zendesk policies.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and German for leading and delivering work across EMEA.
• 7+ years in project or programme management, incl. technology or SaaS implementations.
• Experience in customer-facing roles within professional services or tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex implementation programmes from mobilisation to go-live.
• Translate business objectives into measurable delivery outcomes and value realization.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure governance and reporting.
• Shape delivery plans and escalate issues to protect timelines and budgets.
• Manage stakeholders from technicians to C‑suite, ensuring alignment and accountability.
• Support pre‑sales shaping of future engagements and drive capability development.
