Job summary

Standard Bank Offshore is seeking an experienced lending professional in the Isle of Man to support the Deal team with origination, structuring and execution for Energy and Infrastructure Finance Debt Solutions. The role requires a Post Graduate Degree in Business Commerce and 5–7 years in Lending with broad banking experience.

Responsibilities include originating and maintaining lending deals, structuring compelling credit applications, and driving prompt turnaround in line with service levels.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Degree in Business Commerce required.
• 5-7 years experience in Lending.
• General banking experience with exposure to the entire retail banking value chain and 5 years of exposure to credit.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of defence, ensuring quality control and risk management.
• Originate, fulfil and maintain lending deals for clients, ensuring that the most suitable products to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship between the bank and the client.
• Support the Business Development Manager to structure effective credit applications ensuring the development of high quality and compelling motivations to enable the successful processing of applications.
• Encourage the credit division to turnaround applications promptly and in line with service levels agreement in order to contribute to an efficient and positive client experience.
• Upskill BDMs through imparting credit knowledge and expertise to enable them to sell and structure more lending products.
