The Council is seeking a Senior Engineer to help manage and secure its endpoint estate, ensuring colleagues have reliable devices and applications. You will implement security controls, support centralised management, and drive automation across deployments.

You will work across change and service-transition activities, resolve complex issues, and communicate clearly with staff, suppliers and stakeholders. Hybrid working is available.

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent in computing or related discipline, with experience in centralised device management and deployment tools.
• Strong background in endpoint security and management of modern endpoint environments with security controls.

Mansioni

• Support security and compliance of the Council's endpoint estate with technical controls.
• Manage endpoint estate using centralised device-management technologies.
• Develop and improve automated processes for packaging apps and OS provisioning.
• Contribute to change, release and service-transition activities with risk monitoring.
• Investigate complex issues and provide guidance to customers and ICT colleagues.
