Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon, London, invites an experienced Senior Endoscopy Nurse/Theatre Practitioner to join our dedicated team. You will work across endoscopy theatres, supporting consultants and allied staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will lead infection control practices, uphold JAG standards, and participate in a range of endoscopic procedures including OGD and Colonoscopy, ensuring safety and exemplary patient care throughout the patient journey.

Formación

• Must be registered with the NMC or HCPC.
• Extensive experience in an endoscopy theatre setting.
• Knowledge of JAG standards and endoscopy decontamination is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the Theatre manager and Endoscopy Lead to enhance the endoscopy service.
• Have confident knowledge of Endoscopy JAG standards.
• Have expert knowledge of endoscopic procedures including OGD, Colonoscopy and therapeutic procedures such as Upper GI Dilatation, Banding and Botox injections.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Have a good understanding of endoscope decontamination processes and compliance with JAG and IHEEM requirements, ensuring high standards of patient safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to patients throughout their journey.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
