Job summary

Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon seeks a Senior Endoscopy Nurse/Theatre Practitioner to join our surgical team. You will hold NMC/HCPC registration and bring extensive endoscopy theatre experience, with strong infection control and patient safety focus.

You will work with consultants and clinical teams to ensure safe, efficient care and maintain JAG and decontamination standards. The role involves assisting with endoscopic procedures (OGD, Colonoscopy, Upper GI dilatation, banding)

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC and extensive endoscopy theatre experience.
• Strong knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Familiar with Endoscopy JAG standards and Endoscopy Decontamination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with Theatre Manager and Endoscopy Lead to enhance the endoscopy service.
• Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety during procedures.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of endoscopic procedures (OGD/Colonoscopy and therapeutic procedures).
• Maintain sterile environment and document care in hospital records.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to patients throughout their journey.
