Job summary

Franklins Solicitors LLP, with offices in Milton Keynes and Northampton, seeks a Solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Employment Law. The role involves leading a team, managing client expectations, and driving workflow in a busy department.

The successful candidate will liaise with clients both in person and remotely, oversee work and billing targets, and contribute to business development across the firm. Flexible working patterns are available where possible.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE.
• Experience in Employment Law.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a team.

Responsibilities

• Report to Head of Employment.
• Oversee and advise other members of department.
• Oversee and ensure maintenance of work and fee income targets.
• Liaise with clients in person or remote meetings and in telephone discussions.
• Receive and issue correspondence/mail from/to the client, agents and third parties.
• Time recording all work undertaken.
• Attend outside appointments including court hearings and client visits as required.
• Areas of work to include Employment and general advice.
• Generate new work for department and firm.
