Job summary

Legal Pro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor for Northampton to join a respected firm as Senior Associate, Junior Partner, or Team Leader. The role offers leadership responsibilities, supervision of junior lawyers, and a mix of contentious and non-contentious work.

You will work with a leading Employment Partner, support growth, and contribute to strategic employment matters across sectors in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years UK Post Qualification Experience in employment law.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently from instruction through to completion.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or trainees.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Advise employer clients including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and listed companies, as well as employees.
• Draft and advise on settlement agreements, employment contracts, and workplace policies.
• Advise on restructuring projects, changes to employment terms, and redundancy exercises.
• Provide strategic advice on senior management and board-level employment disputes.
• Deliver day-to-day employment law and HR advisory support.
• Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings.
