Harper James, a growing commercial law firm, seeks a Senior Employment Solicitor with 7+ years PQE to handle contentious work across SMEs and larger businesses. The workload is varied, covering restructures, discrimination, TUPE, and executive contracts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years PQE with contentious employment experience.
• Strong ability to build relationships and provide practical advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies.
• Assist with business restructures and redundancies (including collective).
• Oversee discrimination and whistle-blowing cases.
• Advise on TUPE transfers, including corporate support.
• Draft consultancy agreements and advise on worker status (IR35).
• Draft and advise on director service agreements and contracts of employment.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Handle senior executive severances.
