Job summary

Oculus Legal Group is seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor with 4+ years’ experience to join our national Employment team in Leicester. Work with Legal 500 recommended employment lawyers on complex matters for major national clients, with a supportive environment and no individual billing targets.

The role involves advising large PLCs and national organisations as well as SMEs on contentious and non-contentious employment issues, with hybrid working and clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior Employment Solicitor with 4+ years' experience ideally capable of handling complex Employment matters.
• Experience advising large national or corporate clients is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Discipline and grievance matters for clients.
• Unfair dismissal and discrimination cases.
• TUPE discussions and whistleblowing matters.
• Redundancy and restructures advice at senior level.
• Strategic advisory support to senior management and boards.
• Complex employment and HR advisory work across contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Advising senior executives on comprehensive employment relationships.

A leading national law firm is looking to appoint aSenior Employment Solicitor with 4+ years' experienceto join its exceptional and highly regarded national Employment team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor looking to work alongsideLegal 500 recommended Employment lawyers, advising major national clients on complex and high-value Employment matters.

The Role

You will provide specialist Employment law and HR advisory services to a broad range of businesses, fromlarge PLCs and national organisations through to SMEs.

Your work will include:

• Disciplinary and grievance matters
• Unfair dismissal
• Discrimination
• TUPE
• Whistleblowing
• Redundancy and restructures
• Strategic Employment advice to senior management teams and boards
• Complex Employment and HR advisory work
• Advising senior executives and professionals across all aspects of the employment relationship

You will have the opportunity to work on a varied and high-quality caseload, advising sophisticated clients on both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters.

About You

You will ideally be aSenior Employment Solicitor with 5+ years' experience, with a strong background in contentious Employment work and experience acting for respondent clients.

You will ideally have experience advisinglarge national or corporate clientsand be comfortable handling complex Employment matters with a high degree of autonomy.
