Job summary

CMS UK is seeking an Employment Associate to join our UK Employment group based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester or Sheffield. The role offers exposure to high-profile commercial clients and a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a flexible, hybrid working policy and a strong focus on training and development. A 4PQE+ background is preferred, with a proactive and organised approach to work.

Qualifications

• Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment work.
• Strong academic record with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Well-organised, proactive, personable with enthusiasm to contribute to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment advice to commercial clients.
• Contribute to corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings.
• Represent in employment tribunal, civil court and appellate matters.
• Handle collective matters such as restructurings/redundancies, TUPE and industrial relations.
• Conduct investigations (including regulatory investigations) and advise on strategic compliance projects.
