Job summary

CMS UK is seeking an experienced Employment Associate to be based in one of several UK offices. You will support the growth of CMS’s UK Employment group, advising commercial clients including FTSE 100 companies.

The team handles day‑to‑day advice, transactions, tribunals and cross‑jurisdictional projects with a collaborative, supportive culture. The role requires a mix of contentious and non‑contentious work, a strong academic background, and enthusiasm to hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• 4PQE+ in employment law with both contentious and non-contentious experience.
• Experience advising FTSE 100 and household names.
• Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment advice to corporate clients.
• Advise on corporate, commercial and real estate matters impacting employment.
• Handle employment tribunal and civil court litigation.
• Assist with restructurings, redundancies, TUPE and industrial relations.
• Lead and contribute to cross‑jurisdictional projects and regulatory investigations.
