Job summary

CMS UK is recruiting an Employment Associate to be based in one of our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester or Sheffield. You will advise commercial clients, including FTSE 100 companies, across the full spectrum of employment matters and work within a large, market-leading team.

The role combines contentious and non-contentious work, with a strong academic record and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing growth, training and development in a collaborative and supportive

Qualifications

• 4PQE+ with ambition to support growth of an experienced team.
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious employment work.
• Excellent written and oral communication and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment advice to commercial clients including FTSE 100 companies.
• Assist with corporate, real estate transactions, transfers and outsourcings within employment scope.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation when required.
• Contribute to cross-jurisdictional projects and international CMS Employment matters.
• Participate in investigations and strategic projects related to compliance and changing laws.
