Job summary

IG Humphrey in Cambridge is seeking an intermediate or senior Project Manager to lead Employer's Agent projects across a varied portfolio. You will manage contract administration from appointment through to practical completion and final account, while leading delivery on residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes.

You will chair progress meetings, oversee programme, cost and risk, and report to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience delivering Employer's Agent services on construction projects.
Familiarity with JCT Design and Build contracts is preferred.
Strong programme, cost and risk management skills.
Line management and mentoring of junior PM staff.

Responsibilities

Acting as Employer's Agent under JCT Design and Build contracts, managing the contract administration process from appointment to practical completion and final account.
Leading project management delivery across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes.
Chairing progress meetings, managing programme, cost and risk, and reporting to clients and stakeholders.
Reviewing contractor design submissions, valuations, variations and extension of time claims.
Certifying practical completion, managing defects periods and final certificates.
Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships across Cambridge and East Anglia.
