Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Adviser to provide expert guidance across the Trust, handling disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and wellbeing matters while supporting managers.

You will influence policy, deliver training, analyse workforce data, and manage a varied caseload of complex cases, including FOI/SAR requests, ensuring compliant, fair and compassionate people practices.

Qualifications

• Experience providing expert employee relations guidance.
• Ability to handle disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
• Experience supporting managers with complex people challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations cases with sensitivity.
• Provide professional advice on disciplinary, grievance, attendance and wellbeing issues.
• Support policy development, training delivery and workforce data analysis.
• Coordinate FOI requests, SARs and other reporting requirements.
• Prepare documentation for ACAS conciliation and Employment Tribunal cases.
