Job summary

Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the Employee Relations team. You will provide specialist ER guidance to managers, applying employment law and Trust policies to resolve cases promptly and fairly within a busy environment.

You will also coach managers, support hearings, help prepare tribunal responses, and contribute to policy development and staff wellbeing initiatives. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations and case management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and policy.
• Ability to coach and influence managers with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on complex ER matters to managers.
• Manage a varied ER caseload and ensure timely resolution.
• Advise at formal hearings and support Employment Tribunal responses.
• Promote attendance, wellbeing and adherence to NHS terms.
• Deliver training sessions on ER topics and contribute to policy reviews.
