Qualifications

• Experience providing specialist advice on sickness absence, conduct, capability and performance.
• Ability to advise on grievances, dignity at work and other HR matters.
• Proven ability to coach and influence managers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice to managers on employee relations matters in line with policy and law.
• Manage a varied ER caseload ensuring timely progression and compliance.
• Advise at formal hearings to support fair and consistent decisions.
• Prepare management cases, appeals and tribunal responses with accurate records.
• Collaborate with managers to improve attendance and wellbeing, including NHS terms.
• Design and deliver training sessions on employee relations topics.
• Contribute to policy reviews and stay updated on employment law and best practice.
• Support recruitment initiatives and advise on DBS-related matters.
