Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking two Senior Employee Relations Advisors to join our team. The role focuses on resolving complex workplace issues, strengthening people-management capability, and delivering ER guidance across the organisation.

You will coach managers, develop policies, and support organisational change while ensuring alignment to CARE values and a Just and Learning Culture. You will also guide junior colleagues and contribute to tribunal preparation as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience advising managers and staff on routine ER matters (performance, conduct, policies) with minimal supervision.
• Sound knowledge of current employment law and its application in a workplace.
• Ability to gather, analyse and present data from electronic and paper sources; coaching and group facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist ER advice across the Trust and coach managers to resolve workplace issues.
• Contribute to development of people policies and ER resources; deliver manager training.
• Assist with employment tribunal casework and liaise with ACAS when required.
• Support organisational change and promote a Just and Learning Culture.
