Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,349 per annum

Band 6 with Band 7 on successful completion of Rural Advanced Practitioner (RAP) PG diploma qualification

The above vacancy have arisen in the Emergency Department (ED) of the Western Isles Hospital offers an excellent opportunity to develop existing ENP skills to a senior advanced practice role and join a small but dynamic team.
The Emergency Department in a rural setting, is unpredictable and fast paced, providing both emergency care and minor injury service but a rewarding role. Successful candidates are required to be able to work as independent practitioners with expanded scope of practice, high analytical and judgement skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development, and completion of a Post graduate diploma in Rural Advanced Practice to meet service requirements is a requirement. Proven experience at a minimum of 2 years as an ENP, including independent prescribing essential. The department currently operates 12.5 hour shifts on day/night rotation.
