United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust (ULTH) is recruiting a substantive Consultant in Emergency Medicine for the Lincolnshire region. The appointee will provide high‑quality care, supervise ED staff, and participate in protocol development within a 1:15 on‑call rota with 1:5 weekends.

The post supports a 85% DCC and 15% SPA split and relocation packaging is offered. The successful candidate will be GMC‑registered, hold CCT in Emergency Medicine (or equivalent), and have ALS and FRCEM.

Competenze

• Full GMC Registration with licence to practice.
• CCT in Emergency Medicine or equivalent (or expected within 6 months of interview).
• FRCEM or equivalent qualification.
• ALS certification.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine including ED leadership and supervision.
• Six months’ experience at Consultant level.

Mansioni

• Collaborate to maintain emergency medicine in line with strategic requirements.
• Provide routine and emergency services with colleagues in this specialty.
• Direct clinical supervision and training of ED junior medical and nursing staff.
• Participate in development of ED treatment protocols with specialty colleagues.
• Lead supervision and appraisal of junior medical staff with colleagues.
• Contribute to training and assessment of Specialist Registrars and ST Grade doctors.
