Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FPGA-based embedded software test development.
• Strong hardware fault finding via software; use of logic analyzers and scopes.
• Proficient in Python; experience with PyTest for test automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Strong debugging skills in testing code and the application.
• Linux environment experience and shell scripting.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum in an iterative development setup.
• ISTQB or software testing certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies for FPGA-based embedded projects.
• Define test scopes with cross-functional teams and assist planning/estimation.
• Execute tests, analyze results, and report findings with improvements.
• Develop and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with production, NPI and support to resolve issues.
• Produce test plans, cases and results documentation for compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and lifecycle.
• Stay current with industry best practices and new testing technologies.
