Job summary
Edwards Vacuum in Eastbourne, United Kingdom, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and support software for controllers, instrumentation and interfaces across Atlas Copco Vacuum Technique Divisions. Qualifications
- Degree in CS or related engineering field (Bachelor's or Master's).
- Experience delivering production-ready electronic systems in electronics manufacturing.
- Practical embedded software development experience with typical processors.
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile project management.
- Experience in regulated, compliance-driven industries and global engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of product roadmaps and priorities in the Vacuum Technique Division.
- Develop innovative software solutions for controllers and instrumentation.
- Participate in SCRUM-based projects and provide technical leadership.
- Mentor less experienced developers and provide leadership in technology areas.
- Develop test harnesses, test scripts, and automation tools for validation.
- Promote improvements to the software development process and release production-ready code.
