Job summary

Edwards, a leading brand within Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a Project Engineer to own custom engineered orders in the Process Vacuum Systems & Solutions unit. Based in Bolton, UK, you will report to the Project Lead and take responsibility for delivering sound engineering solutions on time and to budget.

You will support the Project Lead and Business Manager, manage contracts from receipt to commissioning, coordinate with Sales and Contracts, and prepare production plans and cost spreadsheets

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within process/chemical engineering.
• Self-managed and team-oriented with strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of engineering contractors and vacuum technology is a plus.
• Familiar with international design standards and codes.
• Willingness to travel ~15% and fluent in English.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage contracts from receipt to commissioning.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project Lead and Contracts manager to maximise revenue.
• Prepare cost spreadsheets and monitor project expenditures to avoid overspends.
• Estimate lead times and prepare detailed production/resource plans.
• Produce or oversee technical and commercial documents and schedules.
