Job summary
Edwards, a brand within Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a Controls Engineer to write control and visualization software for Clevedon PC products, in accordance with the functional software specification and to produce design and test documentation. You will report to the Lead Controls Engineer and collaborate across requirements, design reviews and risk assessments.
In this role you will create release-ready software, help prepare manuals and build notes, and support on-site testing when required.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in controls and software
- Essential PLC/HMI programming
- Understanding of P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics
- Administration of software configuration control tools and release processes
Responsibilities
- Write control and visualization software for Edwards products
- Review specifications and provide feedback
- Follow test procedures and risk assessments
- Contribute to test documents and software plans
- Create release documentation, build notes and service instructions
- Plan day-to-day actions and report progress
