Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Hertfordshire is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to help define software requirements and architect embedded solutions for high-demand products in a regulated environment.

The role focuses on real-time control, data acquisition, and cross-functional collaboration, with a hybrid on-site arrangement and a benefits package including pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with RTOS and hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, or wireless protocols.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, system architecture, and design specifications.
• Develop and implement embedded software for real-time control, data acquisition, signal processing, and communication interfaces.
• Conduct software integration, testing, and debugging to ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Write efficient, modular, and maintainable code in C/C++ (and assembly where needed) for microcontrollers, DSPs and FPGAs.
