Redline Group in Hertfordshire is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop high-quality embedded software for real-time control and data acquisition in a regulated environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and ensure product performance across lifecycle stages.

The role is hybrid with on-site days and offers pension, bonus schemes, and life assurance as part of a flexible benefits package.

Qualifications

• Embedded software development experience.
• Real-time OS and hardware-software integration experience.
• Proficient in C and C++.
• Familiar with UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and wireless comms.
• Experience with debugging, cross-compilation, and embedded tooling.

Responsabilités

• Define software requirements, system architecture, and design specs with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement embedded software for real-time control and data acquisition.
• Perform integration, testing, and debugging to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Write modular, efficient code for microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGAs in C/C++.
