Redline Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for their Hertfordshire R&D facility. The role involves developing embedded software for real‑time control, data acquisition, and signal processing within a regulated environment.

You will work across cross-functional teams to refine requirements and design specifications. The position is hybrid, offering flexibility for days on site, with benefits including a pension, bonus scheme, life assurance, and other flexible perks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with RTOS and hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, or wireless technologies.
• Proficiency in embedded software development tools, debugging techniques, and cross-compilation environments.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, system architecture, and design specifications.
