Videojet Technologies, a Veralto Company, is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, develop and maintain real-time software for our core product range. You'll work in a mechatronics team spanning motion control, embedded Linux, drivers and user interfaces within an international R&D environment.

You will contribute to New Product Development and product support, operate in Agile, produce clear documentation, and own features from design to release.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded software design and development experience on real-time or embedded Linux platforms.
• Experience with RTOS like FreeRTOS on Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Experience with Linux kernel drivers, bootloaders and user-space applications.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test and maintain embedded software for real-time and Linux-based product platforms, including low-level drivers, hardware interfaces and application software.
• Develop understanding of existing/future products and contribute to performance and maintainability improvements.
• Contribute to New Product Development and maintenance of existing products, including defect fixes and feature additions.
• Work in an Agile environment, supporting planning, estimation, reviews and improvements.
• Create technical documentation to support design, testing, release and long-term product support.
• Take ownership of assigned work with attention to detail and engineering judgement.
