DTC A Codan Company is hiring Embedded Software Engineers at all career levels for our Whiteley team. You will develop embedded software in C and C++ for SoC-based hardware, integrate features, debug software and hardware interactions, and work closely with hardware, RF and electronics engineers.

The role focuses on real hardware, not simulated software, with opportunities to advance in embedded Linux and advanced wireless tech.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in C and C++.
• Strong embedded software development fundamentals.
• Interest in hardware/software integration and lab equipment.
• Ability to debug technical problems with electronic test gear.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C and C++.
• Work with SoC-based hardware platforms.
• Develop, integrate and test new product features.
• Debug software and hardware interactions.
• Hands-on with electronics and laboratory test equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware and RF engineers on system-level problems.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle from early development through testing.
