DTC | A Codan Company in Whiteley is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will develop embedded software for wireless communication products, working closely with software, electronics and RF specialists.

We value strong C/C++ fundamentals, hands-on hardware experience, and the ability to debug complex system interactions on real hardware. The role includes exposure to embedded Linux, RF topics and opportunities for technical growth.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems and experience with hardware/software integration.
• Familiar with debugging techniques and laboratory test equipment.
• Experience or interest in RF or communications systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C and C++ for wireless products.
• Work with SoC-based hardware platforms and RF/electronics teams.
• Debug hardware/software interactions and verify features end-to-end.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle from concept to testing.
