Job summary

DTC, a Codan Company, is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer for its Hardware Engineering team in the UK. You will own RF designs from concept through production and in-service support, collaborating with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems teams to deliver high-performance wireless products.

You will work hands-on on RF boards and systems, develop test plans, and ensure designs meet stringent performance, quality, and regulatory standards while aligning with production needs and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong RF design and analysis at board and system level.
• Familiar with RF principles: impedance, noise, gain, filtering, signal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design RF systems and board-level hardware for wireless products.
• Create component-level RF designs for transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, mixers, filters.
• Translate requirements into RF architectures and detailed hardware designs.
• Produce schematics, support PCB layout, and RF simulations/analysis.
• Select RF components considering performance, cost and producibility.
• Develop test plans and verify with RF lab equipment.
• Support prototype bring-up, integration, troubleshooting, validation, and qualification.
• Ensure RF designs integrate with wider product architecture.
• Support manufacturing and design transfers.
