Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and validate secure embedded software for network-connected assistive listening products.

You will lead embedded software development across the full product lifecycle, collaborate with hardware, firmware, test and compliance teams, and contribute to cybersecurity, performance and production quality.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded C/C++ development experience.
• Experience with RTOS, bare-metal development and ARM Cortex processors.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS for networked embedded systems.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, and DMA interfaces.
• Strong debugging and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing embedded software in C/C++ for real-time systems.
• Developing secure network-connected products using TCP/IP, HTTP/S and TLS.
• Writing, testing and maintaining production-quality embedded software.
• Supporting cybersecurity, compliance and secure product development.
• Working with RTOS and low-level device drivers for ARM-based platforms.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new products.
• Supporting debugging, technical reviews and continuous product improvements.
