Verso Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement secure, network-connected software for embedded products. You will write production-quality code and work with hardware, firmware, software, test and compliance teams.
The role requires strong Embedded C/C++ experience, networking knowledge (Ethernet/TCP/IP/UDP/IP), and hands-on work with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and RTOS.

Location: Nottingham
Salary: £65,000 to £80,000 basic + benefits
Hybrid working: Ideally local, able to work on-site 2/3 days a week. Open to people further afield and in the office less if they have an ideal background.

They re now looking to strengthen their engineering team with a Senior Embedded Software Engineer who can take ownership of embedded development, secure connectivity and cybersecurity across their product portfolio.
This is a hands on engineering role rather than a purely architectural or managerial position. You ll be writing production code, solving complex technical problems and working closely with hardware, firmware, software, test and compliance teams.
You ll be responsible for developing and implementing secure, network-connected functionality within embedded products.
Your work will include:
Experienced in embedded software development, with a strong background in connected, wireless or other high-technology products.
