Redline Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join an innovative engineering team in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, contributing to design, development and validation of secure embedded software for network-connected assistive listening products.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in embedded software development across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with hardware, firmware, test and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Designing and developing embedded software for real-time systems.
• Developing secure network-connected products using TCP/IP, HTTP/S and TLS.
• Writing, testing and maintaining production-quality embedded software.
• Supporting cybersecurity, compliance and secure product development.
• Working with RTOS and low-level device drivers for ARM-based platforms.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new products.
• Supporting debugging, technical reviews and continuous product improvements.

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, will be expected to take a leading role in embedded software development, working across the full product lifecycle while collaborating with hardware, firmware, test and compliance teams.

Key skills

• Strong embedded C and/or C++ development experience

• Strong debugging, problem-solving and technical communication skills
