Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a Senior Electronics & Software Product Engineer to lead electronics and embedded software development for complex new products in regulated markets, including medical devices and electromechanical systems.

You will design circuits, integrate hardware and software with mechatronics, and deliver regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders while advancing projects from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electronic circuit design and embedded software development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Engineering degree with First-class or 2:1 classification.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and embedded software for complex new products.
• Integrate electronics, software, and electromechanical design through to manufacture.
• Deliver structured technical progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support products through the full development lifecycle, from concept to production planning.
• Contribute to project leadership activities and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Assist, over time, with developing new technical opportunities into commercial programmes.
