Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking an Email & SMS Marketing Senior Executive to drive multi-channel campaigns from planning through delivery. This role focuses on leveraging Adobe Campaign Manager, crafting personalised journeys, and measuring outcomes to optimise engagement.

The position is based in Stratford, London, with hybrid flexibility (office 1–2 days per week) and a 12-month fixed-term contract. Salary £36,000–£40,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering email and SMS marketing campaigns from planning to execution and analysis.
• Experience using Adobe Campaign or similar technology to deliver and automate campaigns, and knowledge of HTML.
• Experience planning personalised email and SMS journeys for different audience segments.
• Data-driven with understanding of UX principles and interpreting results for optimisation.
• Strong working relationships and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to manage own workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver email and SMS marketing campaign plans to time, budget and KPIs with the support of the Email & SMS Marketing Executives.
• Plan and build automated workflows aligned to marketing plans and audience objectives.
• Lead data and digital campaign setup with stakeholders for optimal targeting and tracking.
• Collaborate with UX to test and learn and propose optimisations.
• Maximise Adobe Campaign to deliver timely, relevant, personalised communications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns effectively and efficiently.
• Share recommendations to automate and improve efficiency and future campaigns.
• Mentor the Email & SMS Marketing Executives.
• Share learnings and best practices across Fundraising & Marketing.
