Job summary

Marie Curie is seeking a Senior Email Marketing Executive to own the day-to-day delivery of our UK email programme, driving innovative campaigns that engage supporters and generate vital income.

You'll plan campaigns, optimise performance, segment audiences, and manage automated journeys. This is a fixed-term role to April 2027, offering mentorship, stakeholder collaboration, and a fast-paced, agile working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering successful email marketing campaigns from planning through to evaluation.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practice, including deliverability and accessibility.
• Experience with audience segmentation, data selections, and personalised communications.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR, PECR, and marketing consent requirements.
• Experience with lifecycle marketing and automated journeys (SMS/WhatsApp would be advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and delivery of email campaigns across fundraising and supporter communications.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing templates and best practices.
• Deliver and optimise SMS and WhatsApp communications as part of multichannel activity.
• Lead audience segmentation and targeting for personalised communications.
• Build and maintain automated supporter journeys (welcome, nurture, re-engagement, stewardship).
• Own the email test-and-learn programme and drive performance improvements.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and shape integrated campaign plans.
• Mentor and deputise for the Email Marketing Manager when required.
