Job summary

INDTECH seeks a Senior Electronics Design Engineer for a UK-wide, site-based role developing complex subsea and marine electronics. You will work across analogue, digital and mixed-signal hardware, embedded systems and programmable devices to design, verify, fault-find and improve reliable subsea equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design and hardware engineering.
• Experience with FPGA and microprocessor-based systems, plus embedded C programming.
• Knowledge of low-power/low-noise design principles and EMC-aware design/testing.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, ideally Altium.
• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics for subsea and marine equipment.
• Work with FPGA and microprocessor-based systems, embedded software and interfaces.
• Contribute to design reviews and guide robust design decisions.
• Carry out hands-on lab testing, debugging and fault-finding across hardware/embedded systems.
• Support EMC testing, maintain documentation, and assist with production issues.
