Job summary

DCS Recruitment seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer in Hampshire for permanent work on advanced electronics and subsea instrumentation. You will focus on hands-on hardware design and development of complex electronic systems for demanding underwater environments.

The role covers analogue/digital circuit design, PCB layout, embedded software in C/C++, FPGA-based work, and rigorous testing, fault analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
• PCB design and schematic capture (Altium preferred).
• Embedded C/C++ and microcontroller/FPGA systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Produce circuit schematics and PCB designs.
• Develop low-power, low-noise electronic solutions.
• Work with embedded C/C++, microcontrollers and FPGA-based systems.
• Integrate, test and troubleshoot complex electronic hardware.
• Support precision signal acquisition, communication interfaces and timing systems.
• Investigate faults, verify designs and support production.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to design reviews.
