Job summary

Indra is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join the Hardware team in Malvern. You will lead PCBA design for new product variants and contribute across the full lifecycle, from requirements to production readiness. Strong expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout, and DFMEA is essential.

There is potential to advance to leadership within the team. You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and QA to ensure regulatory compliance (UKCA/CE/UL), EMC, and reliability targets

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with related experience preferably within EV charging or consumer product development.
• Pointing to high-volume electronics development and compliance requirements.
• Experience with design for manufacture and reliability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Electronics development from requirements through production readiness and cost optimization
• Create and run development test plans and reports
• Design for international regulatory compliance (UKCA/CE/UL) and EMC
• Document design processes and maintain comprehensive records
• Support component selection, pricing, and lead time data for production
• Review schematics, layouts, and deliverables with team members
• Investigate production failures and perform rework or repair of assemblies
• Conduct reliability testing and accelerated life testing
• Perform other duties aligned with business needs
