Job summary
Indra Renewable Technologies, based in the UK, is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join the Hardware team. You will drive PCBA design for new variants and lead development from concept through to production readiness, tackling diverse technical challenges across the full product lifecycle.
The role offers opportunities to progress to leadership within the team and requires a strong background in electronics for EV charging or consumer products, with a focus on robust documentation
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in electronic sub-assembly development.
- Experience with design for manufacture and reliability analysis and EMC compliance.
Responsibilities
- Electronics development across the full product lifecycle from requirements to production readiness.
- Author and run development test plans and test reports.
- Design for regulatory compliance (UKCA/CE/UL), EMC, reliability, and production test.
- Maintain thorough technical documentation throughout design processes.
- Support component selection, pricing, and lead times for manufacturing.
- Review schematics, layouts, and documents; perform root cause analysis of failures.
- Rework and repair of electronic assemblies; conduct reliability testing.
- Undertake other tasks aligned with business needs.
