Job summary

Indra, based in Malvern, UK, is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to support the development and delivery of next-generation EV charging products. You will work with Electronics, Embedded Software, and Mechanical Engineers to build, modify, test, and validate electronic assemblies and complete charger units throughout the product development lifecycle.

This role involves ensuring prototypes and production units are built to high standards, performing fault finding, maintaining build/test

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in electronics lab, manufacturing, or product development.
• Experience building, modifying, and testing PCBs and complete products.
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, and assembly drawings.
• Experience recording test results and maintaining build/test records.
• Experience following documented build, inspection, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify and test PCBs, prototype assemblies, and charger units.
• Carry out PCB modifications, wire modifications, component replacement, and prototype rework activities.
• Maintain accurate build, test and configuration records.
• Support prototype, pilot and production build activities.
• Support fault finding and root cause investigations on development, production and field-return units.
• Develop and maintain test rigs, fixtures and test equipment.
• Support engineering teams with product verification and validation activities.
• Execute functional, environmental, verification and validation test procedures.
• Record, analyse and report test results clearly and concisely.
• Ensure all work complies with engineering processes, quality standards and safety requirements.
