Job summary

Indra Renewable Technologies Limited in Malvern, UK, seeks an experienced electronics engineer to join the Hardware team responsible for designing and developing Indra's family of EV charging equipment.

The successful candidate will handle PCBA design for new variants and contribute to new product development across the full lifecycle, with potential progression to leadership roles for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with related experience preferably within electric vehicle charging or consumer product development.
• 10+ years of demonstrable experience within electronic sub-assembly development for volume production.
• Schematic capture and PCB design using KiCAD or Altium.
• Design for Manufacture; DFMEAs and reliability analysis.
• Investigation and resolution of EMC non-compliances.

Responsibilities

• Electronics development from requirements to production readiness and cost optimization.
• Authoring and running development test plans and test reports.
• Designing for international regulatory compliance (UKCA, CE, UL) and EMC.
• Documentation of design processes and changes.
• Support with component selection, pricing and lead time data.
• Review of schematics, layouts, and documents.
• Triage and root cause analysis of production test failures.
• Rework and repair of electronic assemblies/PCBA.
• Reliability testing and lifecycle assessment.
