Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Surrey is seeking a hands-on electronics design engineer for client-facing work across government and the commercial sector, with emphasis on DSP, high-speed data processing, cybersecurity and secure communication.

Qualifications

• 2.1 Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline from a well ranked university.
• Advanced degree or PhD preferred.
• Commercial experience in PCB layout, FPGA/SoC design, and VHDL.
• Embedded C or C++ for Linux device drivers and high-speed networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-facing electronics design expertise for government and commercial projects.
• Take ownership of projects and work closely with clients to innovate technical solutions.
• Mentor colleagues where required and collaborate with a high-calibre engineering team.
