Job summary

Ecm Selection in Cambridge is seeking a senior electronics engineer to lead high-performance board-level design and contribute to FPGA/ASIC development. The role is hands-on and product-focused, with opportunities for technical leadership on ongoing and future projects.

You will work on digital design, SI analyses with Altium and HyperLynx, and collaborate across RF, DSP and embedded software domains. Mostly onsite, with occasional home working when possible, and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics or physics; PhD preferred.
• Significant experience in digital design for high-performance board-level electronics; some FPGA/ASIC design; verification using Verilog.
• Experience with Altium for PCB design and HyperLynx or similar for signal integrity analyses.
• Experience with RF, DSP, embedded software and DOORS for requirements management; knowledge of C++, Python, Tcl desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performance board-level electronics design and contribute to FPGA/ASIC development.
• Work with signal processing, AI, RF and software components across projects.
• Hands-on role with potential for project technical leadership; mostly onsite with some home working when possible.
