This hands-on role covers the full design lifecycle from concept to production of high-end, technically complex electronics.The role involves digital and analogue design (DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC, Ethernet, DDR), PCB layout in Altium, prototyping and testing, EMC/ESD, and supporting designs through manufacture.

Qualifications

• Strong electronics design experience across digital and analogue circuits.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience with DSP, FPGA and high-speed digital systems is essential.
• Analogue electronics experience is desirable.
• PCB/ECAD design using Altium preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs digital and analogue circuits for high-end electronics.
• Perform DSP/FPGA and high-speed digital work including DAC/ADC, Ethernet, DDR.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout; prototyping and bench testing.
• Ensure EMC/ESD compliance and support products through manufacturing.

Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Salisbury | £50,000 - £65,000 DOE | Full-time, Permanent

Remarkable Jobs are recruiting for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join an established and highly skilled R&D team based in Salisbury.

This is a hands-on design role, working on high-end, technically complex electronic products from initial concept right through to production.

The role

• Digital circuit design - DSP, FPGA, microprocessors, DAC/ADC, Ethernet & DDR
• High-speed digital design
• Analogue circuit and audio filter design
• Linear & switched-mode power supplies
• Schematic capture & PCB layout
• Prototyping, debugging and bench testing
• EMC / ESD
• Supporting designs through to manufacture

What we're looking for

• Strong commercial electronics design experience
• Electronics Engineering degree or similar
• Experience with DSP, FPGA and/or high-speed digital systems
• Analogue electronics experience
• PCB / ECAD experience - Altium preferred
• Strong lab and debugging skills
• Knowledge of EMC / ESD standards
• RF, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or audio electronics experience would be a bonus
