Modis International Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronic Architect to join a highly respected engineering organisation in Stevenage. You will lead the definition of future electronic solutions, influence technology roadmaps, and drive development from concept to delivery in safety‑critical environments.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or related discipline with significant experience in design and development of complex electronic systems.
• Experience in several areas listed: digital electronics, power electronics, safety-critical electronics, embedded software/firmware.
• Ability to define system architectures, allocate requirements across subsystems, and lead technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop electronic and electrical architectures for complex products and systems.
• Decompose system requirements into subsystem and equipment-level requirements.
• Lead technical decision-making across the product life cycle.
• Ensure technical solutions meet performance, environmental, safety, security, and customer requirements.
• Support technology strategy, research activities, and future product development roadmaps.
• Collaborate with project managers, systems engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and external stakeholders.
• Manage technical risks and identify mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership through design, integration, verification and qualification activities.
• Act as a key technical interface for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
