Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an experienced Electronic Architect in Stevenage to define the electronic and electrical architecture of advanced equipment. You will decompose customer requirements, balance space and harsh environments, and lead technical delivery with the Engineering Project Manager to ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality outcomes.

You will engage with stakeholders and customers, applying strong leadership and decision-making in a dynamic, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital electronics and microprocessor systems.
• Power electronics design for distributed power networks.
• Ability to design equipment for safety-critical environments.
• Capability to handle sensitive customer data and ensure data security.
• Experience with firmware development for electronic systems.
• Knowledge of packing, thermal management and compact packaging.

Responsibilities

• Define the electronic and electrical architecture of the equipment.
• Decompose requirements to sub-elements and manage technical delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.
• Lead with strong influencing and leadership to meet customer requirements.
