Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop electronic circuitry and firmware for portable equipment in a dynamic R&D team. The role offers a varied and autonomous position within a well-established business based near Watford.

You will work on analogue/digital design, embedded firmware (ARM STM32), and PCB design using Altium; exposure to high voltage technology is advantageous and hands-on hardware development is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in analog and digital electronic design.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware for ARM microcontrollers (STM32).
• Experience with high voltage technology designs is advantageous.
• Schematic capture using Altium or similar.
• Familiar with PCB design and circuit simulation tools (LTSpice).

Responsibilities

• Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment.
• Maintenance of existing product line, e.g. due to component obsolescence, changes in standards, etc.
