Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer for a Watford-based R&D team that develops portable electronic instrumentation. You will design electronic circuitry and firmware for handheld equipment and help refresh products for annual launches.

Ideal candidates have strong analogue/digital design plus ARM MCU firmware experience. A relocation-friendly package and flexible core-hours support a dynamic, long-term career path in a well-funded division.

Qualifications

• Experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
• Embedded firmware design for ARM microcontrollers (STM32) is an advantage.
• Proficient with PCB design and circuit simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice).
• Knowledge of high voltage technology designs.
• Experience designing products to safety and legal standards.

Responsibilities

• Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment.
• Maintenance of existing product line due to obsolescence or standards changes.
