Job summary

M&E Contrax Ltd is seeking an experienced Qualified Electrician to join our team, primarily on-site across Exeter, Devon and surrounding areas. The role includes testing, commissioning, and maintenance, with responsibility as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for technical standards and compliance.

We welcome candidates with Solar PV, battery storage experience, or renewable energy qualifications, and are prepared for occasional travel across the South West.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing, or equivalent 2394/2395.
• AM2 or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.
• Experience with commercial installations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Complete EICRs and associated certification.
• Act as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for the company.
• Review and sign off electrical work and ensure standards.
